August 31 to September 3

Mohawk 4x4 Adventures Vermont Expedition IV

Greetings and salutations Mohawk 4x4 Adventurers!

It's time again for your favorite adventure of the year, our annual M4X4AVTXPDIV, which may also be the longest abbreviation known to the off road world!

Maybe your wondering why this is the greatest adventure of the year?  It could be the camping location, on top of a mountain overlooking the valley and the mountains to the west at sunrise and sunset.  It could be the large pavilion we rent complete with electricity, seating for all and two large fire places.  Or maybe it's the food, drinks and friends?  Maybe it's the event exclusive tee shirt?

PROBABLY NOT!  It's the wheeling!  Add in all of the above reasons and you can't not have a good time.  The trails range from moderately challenging to difficult.  You should have 33" tires and a locker or winch minimum for this weekend.

We'll be spending most of the weekend off roading premiere trails throughout the region, ranging from privatre property to public roads you have to see to believe.  Mohawk 4x4 Adventures mixes it up with plenty of fun for everyone, all weekend long.  Our guides are local residents and club members with YEARS of experience on these trails.  We'll be running some easy, scenic trails and plenty of grab bar clenching obstacles and rocks along creek beds and cliffs, expertly guided by our members that live there.

If you're coming up and not sure your rig can handle a certain trail, jump in and ride with another member.  You really don't want to miss a thing.

Here's How It Works -

  • You'll check in at the gate with park staff, and they'll direct you to our site location
  • You will proceed to our check in area at the pavilion upon arrival and sign in and get your tee shirts
  • Once you're signed in, set up in an available area to camp
  • We usually air down Friday night and air up Monday afternoon

Friday Night Run -

  • Driver Meeting at 8:30 pm in parking lot
